EmpoweringKids is a school where young children and native Spanish & Chinese teachers join together to increase our language and cultural sensitivity in the Northwest. Moreover, young children can become more aware of, and show more positive attitudes towards different cultures. EmpoweringKids is opening doors to students to become proficient in the foreign language. Having skills to communicate in Chinese & Spanish will be an invaluable life experience advantage.
Philosophy Approach
Empowering Kid´s theory is based on Lev Vygotsky´s – Social cultural development! “He believed that children´s cognitive, language and social development is supported and enhanced by others through social interactions”. Therefore, we believe that we can empower each individual´s ability through the zone of proximity to scaffolding new knowledge. Where each child can become competent to do things independently.

Empowering Kids emphasize our immersion language education throughout daily activities. They range from circle time, arts & crafts, handwriting curriculum, games, music, letarature and more!. Empowerind Kids believes that it is essencial to provide real life experiences about nature to support each child´s learning, curiosity, imagination, creativity and form their own interest & personalities.
